7th May 2021 - Space for Urban Air Mobility 
Enabling efficient and effective mobility in urban areas is a key challenge. Urban air Mobility (UAM) aims at bringing urban mobility into the third dimension – the airspace (with flying vehicles) - to address this challenge. This call aims to support the development of innovative space-based applications which could foster the implementation and safe & secure operations of the next generation urban mobility.

This ESA competition offers funding of up to €60k to teams who have ideas relating to the circular economy and use satellite data or space technologies. There are four relevant interest areas: Food and Drinks, Circular Fashion and Textiles, Urban Life and Waste Systems.
